Stay Up-to-Date on COVID19 and Fairbanks

COVID-19 UPDATES

For general information on COVID-19, see these FAQs.

FAIRBANKS PROGRAMMING

To protect our patients, caregivers, and their loved ones, we have instituted the following measures:

  • Fairbanks follows all Community Health Network, Centers for Disease Control, and Indiana State Department of Health COVID guidelines for safety.
  • Fairbanks is open and accepting patients for inpatient services. All patients admitted to inpatient will receive a COVID-19 test and assigned to a single-occupancy room until a negative result is received.
  • All outpatients and visitors are screened daily.
  • The MAT clinic is open Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:30am to noon. Please enter through the Access Center, Door 1. No visitors allowed; patients only.
  • Outpatient programming is open on a limited basis. Programming also is available via Virtual IOP and Online IOP Programs. Level One counseling is now also available online.  Click here for more information.
  • No walk-ins being accepted in Access Center; please call for an appointment. Last time available appointment time for in-person assessment is 7:30 pm.
  • Virtual assessments now being offered for outpatient programs. Assessment for inpatient programs must be done in person.
  • No inpatient visitors allowed with the exception of one person with patient in Access.
  • Prime for Life and Marijuana Education classes for both adults and adolescents are now available online. Contact Tabitha Hull at thull@fairbankscd.org for more information
  • For the safety of our patients and caregivers, masks are required within our facility. Please wash hands upon entering the building and observe social distancing requirements.
  • No 12 step meetings or outside support groups are being held in the Recovery Center at this time.

  • After temporarily suspending our volunteer program due to COVID concerns, volunteers are once again able to return to Fairbanks. We invite new applicants for volunteer positions. However, for everyone’s safety, we ask that individuals age 65 and older or those with serious health issues refrain from volunteering at this time. Please contact our Alumni Relations Officer Kathleen Gill for more information at kgill@fairbankscd.org or 317.572.9469
