“La Verna Lodge for Women is a vital component to Fairbanks’ full continuum of care,” said Mark Monson, President and CEO of Fairbanks. “We understand the unique needs of women who struggle with the disease of addiction and are pleased that we can now offer a long‐term, trauma‐informed program specially tailored for women.”

Modeled after the nationally‐recognized men’s program, La Verna Lodge for Women focuses on all aspects of a person’s life; physical, emotional and spiritual. Daily activities include: meditation, community meetings, individual therapy, self‐reflection and experiential therapy. Residents of La Verna Lodge for Women receive the necessary tools and support needed for lifelong sobriety.
