Fairbanks to host Susan Li Conference, Healing a Woman’s Heart

Fairbanks will host the sixth annual Susan Li Conference on Thursday, July 18 and Friday, July 19. The conference, Healing a Woman’s Heart: Trauma, Addiction and Recovery, will feature local and national experts in the field of addiction treatment and provide insight and education on the most relevant and evidence-based topics to help support and educate those providing treatment and recovery services.
Conference topics include: women and addictions, Indiana drug abuse trends, therapies for PTSD and SUD, acupuncture therapy, food and supplements, eating disorders and more. Keynote speakers are Stephanie S. Covington, Ph.D., LCSW presenting on the topic of Women and Addiction: A Trauma Informed Approach, and Carol Juergensen-Sheets, CSAT, LCSW, PCC presenting on the topic of Love, Addiction and Codependency Strengths.
This conference honors Susan Li, MSW, LCSW, LMHC, for her continuing contributions to the fields of addiction and mental health. 12 CEU’s in the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) and the National Association of Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC).
