Lab results come back negative
We are pleased to report that the Marion County Public Health Department and the FBI have notified Fairbanks that preliminary reports on the unknown substance delivered to us yesterday, May 13, have come back negative for harmful agents.

Earlier this afternoon an envelope with an unknown substance was delivered to Fairbanks. Following protocol, IMPD was contacted to ensure the safety of our patients, employees and visitors. According to a Marion County Public Health Department representative, field screenings of the substance did not detect anything hazardous

Volunteers are a vital component to the work at Fairbanks. Our volunteers support the mission of Fairbanks and are dedicated to serving individuals and families who struggle with addiction. There are many different ways to get involved in our volunteer program. All volunteer positions require:
Staff Assistant – (6 months sobriety, if applicable)
Coffee Shop – (3 months sobriety, if applicable)
Access - (6 months sobriety)
Book Store/Gift Shop - (3 months sobriety, if applicable)
Peer Facilitator - (6 months sobriety)
Transportation - (6 months sobriety)
