Taste of Hope, an interactive culinary fundraiser for Hope Academy, the recovery high school at Fairbanks, will be held on Sunday, December 2 from noon to 2 p.m. at The Fairbanks Recovery Center. This event will highlight the finest cuisines from local chefs and restaurants.
Guests will enjoy tasty food and learn more about the mission of Hope Academy, a tuition-free charter high school for adolescents in recovery from drug or alcohol addiction. The high school provides students with a learning environment committed to sobriety, academic success and personal growth.
Financial support is critical at Hope Academy as there many needs that cannot be met because of budget constraints. The school relies on charitable support in order to offer elective courses and a recovery focused basic skills course.
The event cost is $50 per person and sponsorship opportunities are still available. For more information about Taste of Hope or to purchase a ticket, please click here or call Stacy Traylor at 317-572-9384.
