Did you know, in the United States, 80% of students relapse upon returning to their high school after having primary treatment for substance abuse.
Recovery schools provide a high quality academic experience in a safe, therapeutically supportive school setting to high school students in recovery from substance abuse disorders.
Recovery schools also provide extra support for families who are trying to learn how to live with a teenager in recovery from addiction.
At Hope Academy, the recovery high school at Fairbanks, we provide many opportunities to our students.
• A high school diploma that meets college admission standards
• Core-40 classes
• Extra curricular activities such as art, music and sports
• Leadership opportunities such as yearbook and student activity planning committees
• Individualized and remedial support learning
Hope Academy is enrolling for the 2012-2013 school year. We also provide support for students as they pursue higher education or a career by offering college planning, resume writing and interview coaching.
