Fairbanks Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center will break ground today on a $2.2 million renovation and expansion to their facility. The expansion will include additional group space, increased lounge space and quiet areas to enhance patient comfort.
Fairbanks received funding for the project from the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation and United Way of Central Indiana Capital Fund supported by grants from Lilly Endowment Inc.
Mark Monson, President & CEO of Fairbanks stated, “The new space will enhance the care we provide to our patients and will accommodate future growth of our facility. We are grateful to the United Way of Central Indiana and the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation for their contributions to the project.”
F.A. Wilhelm Construction Company is the contractor and Axis Architecture + Interiors is the designer. The project will be complete in the spring of 2013.
