Inquiry Case Manager

| Duties: |
- Must be able to work with clients in crisis and make rapid independent decisions to assist in the triage of clients as they present for assessment.
- Responsible for conducting a full inquiry on behalf of any client seeking Fairbanks’ services which includes verifying demographic and insurance information and scheduling assessment appointments.
- Will obtain insurance benefit information and will obtain insurance precertification as needed.
- Conduct follow-up calls to individuals who have cancelled or failed to keep their scheduled appointment as well as follow-up calls to those who have made an initial contact but have not yet called back to schedule an assessment appointment.
- Compile monthly statistics on follow-up calls.
- Additional responsibilities include the compilation of other department statistical reports as needed, chart audits and admitting duties as assigned.

| Minimum Requirements: |
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, counseling, addiction or other Human Service field.
- State addiction certification preferred.
- Minimum of two years work experience with chemical dependency.
- Demonstrated experience with customer service, inquiry, sales or related background.
- Computer experience required, proficiency in excel preferred.
- Must have strong written and verbal skills as well as strong organizational skills.
