Fairbanks offers internships for students to develop skills and/or training for assisting individuals and their families affected by chemical dependency. The counseling department accepts student interns who are enrolled in a 60-hour program working toward a master’s degree in counseling, social work or a related field. The adjunctive therapy department accepts one intern for the spring semester and one for the fall semester for students who are completing their course work in recreation therapy.
