Dr. Sigurd H. Zielke is a Clinical Specialist for Fairbanks Hospital in Indianapolis, where his duties include research and staff development. He is also a faculty member for the Fairbanks Research and Training Institute. Prior to working for Fairbanks, he was a Psychiatric Clinical Specialist for seventeen years, specializing in the study of behavior disorders in children and youth. Through area school systems, he continues his work with at-risk children.

Dr. Zielke is a graduate of Biola University, Wheaton College, Ashland University, and Fuller Theological Seminary. Dr. Zielke was an Associate Professor at Taylor University, Upland, Indiana. Dr. Zielke co-authored "Suicidal Youth and the School: An Educator's Guide" in 1994. In 2001, the Academy of Addictions Treatment Professionals produced a videotape of Dr. Zielke's "Helping the Angry Kid" and "Disturbed Attachment" lectures. He also co-authored "90 in 90: A Tool for Recovery."
