Confidentiality & Much More
Confidentiality
In order to protect our patients’ right to privacy, and to maintain the confidentiality of information as required by law, Fairbanks will never release information about you or your participation in our programs unless you give us permission, or when we are required by law to do so.
Alumni Relations/Volunteering
At Fairbanks, we know recovery is much more successful when individuals maintain a recovery connection for one year or more following treatment. Fairbanks works to maintain that connection through volunteer opportunities within our programs. By establishing these relationships, we provide a source of hope and support for thousands of individuals and families struggling with alcohol and drug abuse and addiction.
Ways in which alumni or family members can stay connected to Fairbanks include:
- 'Back Home Again' meetings
- Weekly alumni panel
- Volunteer opportunities
- Alumni-facilitated orientation groups for new patients
- Talking with the Alumni Coordinator for support
- Alumni social outings
- Annual Fairbanks golf tournament
- Education workshops
- Gift Shop
- Fundraising
- Marketing
- Special event planning committees
